Mary Carpenter, M.A.
Assistant Professor of Christian Studies
Director of Cross-Cultural Studies

Mary Carpenter has earned degrees from Howard Payne University (B.S.) and Southwestern Logsdon School of Theology (M.A.).  She was hired in 2005 to teach at Howard Payne University.  Previously to this, she has worked with All Peoples mission group, served as Global Mission Coordinator for FBC Woodway, been involved in with the International Mission Board (1992-1998), and served as a adjunct professor and creator of the Global Mission Center at Howard Payne University (1990-1991).

Mrs. Carpenter's honors include a honorary Doctor of Divinity from Howard Payne, the Nat Tracy Servant Leadership Award from Howard Payne, and the Distinquished Alumni Award from Hardin-Simmons University. 

Mrs. Carpenter teaches in the area of Cross-Cultural Studies.
